A design/build project with a full-sized restaurant, two bars, a bowling alley, one hundred+ plasma TV’s and various gaming rooms throughout.  The work for Coliseum included the installation of all showroom fixtures, a fire alarm system, an extensive dimming package, elevator and all of the special effects and site lighting in and around the building.

This project was competed in two separate phases. Phase 1 consisted of upgrading and/or replacing power and lighting for the pool house, pool equipment, snack shop, and the installation of new site lighting. Phase 2 included the upper level dining room, bar area, lobby, and lower level pro shop, locker room and office areas. In this phase we added several sub-panels, parabolic fixtures, and decorative architectural lighting.

Additions to the facility included a Senior Center, a new Pre-school Room, a Child Watch room, an Indoor, Inter-Active Water park, an increase of over 5,000 square feet to the Wellness Center, and a 14 foot water slide emptying into the Deep Well.  Along with our standard installation of lighting fixtures, power distribution and fire alarm, we also installed cabling for the phone/data and CATV systems, and provided connections for the specialized equipment in the new water park.

Started in 1998, this community theater group plied their trade where ever they could—in school gymnasiums, soccer fields and churches.  Plans to convert a 136 year old barn into their permanent home began in 2002 and became a reality in 2007.  BBEC was pleased to be part of this unusual project.  We installed specialty lighting throughout the structure and provided a lighting control system as well as new power distribution wiring and fire alarm system.  Check out their website www.hersheyareaplayhouse.com and click on “Our New Theater” to see our work showcased.
